HTTP Proxy

Hi,

I'm evaluating version 2 of Astaro. Twice today the Internet has stopped working adn we've had to re-boot the Firewall. I'm running the Transparent Proxy, don't know if anything else was working as I wasn't in the office. WIll post more info when/if it happens again, just wondered if there were any known issues regarding this kind of problem?

sorry but this information is to common to think about any known issues

By the way: Why are you evaluation V2 and not V3 there is much more functionality.

Where do you find the exact version and build information using the WebAdmin tool? I believe it's actually version 3..

AndyV,

version information can be found in the lower left
corner of your browser.
Even version 3 is about to be replaced by version 4.
Have a look at our FTP servers ftp.astaro.com /de.

Ok, I have downloaded version 4. Can I install it and then restore my config from version 3? Is there anything I should know before installing?

I upgraded two firewalls including backup from 3.2.16.
No Problems...no changes after upgrade.

I have install ASL 4.0 and i use my backup from ASL 3.216 and it is no problem and i have not change any configuration.

It gives you a warning but still works fine.
