exim.blocksenders - why so unreliable?

I have a bunch of domains in exim.blocksenders, but many of them are not blocked. Why do some of them still get through? Thanks.

can you show me an example of your squid.conf and your blocklist.

I have a bunch of partial addresses (mostly domains) in my exim.blocksenders. There is one on each line, like this:

@familyfirstweb.com

Some of them get blocked and some do not. I'm not running squid. Thanks.

I find that I have to sometimes do @*.domain.com to catch the sub domains.

I myslef have had to put *@domain.com to make sure all address are grabbed.
