HTTP Proxy Cache

I've cleared my "HTTP proxy cache" to trouble shoot an html and now I can't get to my web server.

My web server has always been running fine until I cleared my firewall's http proxy cache. How would this act has anything to do with my web server?

Suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated and needed. I've exhausted all mine.

    I can see no relationship between the two events, are you sure your web-server is running at all?

    Andy,

    I thought the same thing.

    As for my web server, it's been running for several days. I can access it from work - it's down right now.

    I had just finished installing and configuring Gallery and began testing some html codes. When everything worked fine I thought of cleaning the cache to store fresh data, bad idea, soon after that I can't get to the web server.

    Upon hitting my web server, I get the 111 Connection Denied error message.

    Any idea?

    could you post your setup, where is the firewall and the webserver located, any NAT rules, proxy settings...

    I have gotten my webserver to work again.

    My firewall has 2 nics eth0 being the internal and eth1 the external.

    For some reason, I was able to get to my webserver again after refreshing my NAT - that is delete and readded it. Same configuration.

    btw, I test my webserver from work...  [:)]
