smtp proxy on/block individual ip

    I have the smtp proxy turned on....this one user keeps trying to send email through my server...thank gd the smtp proxy rejects it all...but this guy keeps commin at me...this is getting annoying

    so i went into the packet filter and made a rule;

    (his ip address) - 25 - external ip - reject

    after turning on the rule i check the stmp live log and the rejections keep commin....what am i doing wrong? how do i block this person from even getting to the smtp proxy...i want to stop him at the door so to speak
