Change exim queue timeouts

Hi,

today I received the following alert:

Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours
Will keep trying until message is 5 days old

How can I change these time-outs so that it returns the message in let's say 3 days ?

have a look at the bottom of /var/chroot-smtp/etc/exim.conf-default!

Funny thing...

...we do not have an exim.conf on our system. Is there an exim.conf available for us?

sure you are running version 3.x, if not have
a look at /var/chroot-smtp/var/qmail/control/queuelifetime (seconds)
