smtp authentication

Hallo

i have a Problem runnig asl with smtp authentication.
I createt a local user
enabeld smtp proy
enabled TLS transaction encryption
enabled SMTP authentication
set type to local
set user

I am using Outlook XP
created an acount
set to use autentication
entered username /password
set connection to ssl for smtp.

Now i get an error in Outlook wich says "Fehler (0x800CCC7D) beim Ausführen der Aufgabe server.domain.de - Nachrichten werden gesendet": "Ihr Postausgangsserver (SMTP) unterstützt keine sicheren Verbindungen. Falls Sie früher sichere Verbindungen zu diesem Server hergestellt haben, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Serveradministrator oder Internetdienstanbieter."

so what is wrong?

i need this to send emails via gprs.

have the same problem running OUTLOOK 2000/2002 and ENTOURAGE (Macintosh) using ssl/smtpauth.
OUTLOOK EXPRESS and MAIL(Macintosh) doing ok.

Tried with Outlook Express. Did not work.

Has got anbody here this running??

Hallo

Can anybody of the Asaro Staff tell me if its possible to use smtp Proxy with Authentication, like it is discribed in the manual or not??

Found the Error.
Norton Antivirus was turned on.
I disabled NAV for outgoing Email and here we go.
