Hi
I wish to use the SMTP Mail Relay on Astaro (3.2.09) to forward internal e-mails out to the Internet but not to accept any incoming Mail requests as I have no e-mail server at this time.
Incoming mail is done by the individual clients on the internal network connecting to a POP3 server. This will change when we can afford a mail server.
At the moment I have enabled the internal network in the 'Outgoing Mail' section and I have not defined any SMTP routes in the 'Incoming Mail' section.
I have defined a hostname (firewall. domain.com ) and a web master address.
Is this sufficent to fulfil my requirements? Will this configuration prevent people using the SMTP for spamming/relaying ?
Cheers
