Setting up squid with the ncsa_auth instead of the aua_auth ?

Hello,

I'd like to make squid authentificate users against an ncsa list (this list is managed on an other server and would be global to all astato firewalls)
I modified the squid.conf-default to add the authenticate_program /bin/ncsa_auth /etc/passwd.txt
(all files where copied with scp)
if i use manually ncsa_auth, passwords are correct, but squid doesn't allow me to browse ?

hum hum hum.
