Correct me if I'm wrong. I thought by enabling SMTP Proxy the firewall will sniff for anything to port 25 of my mail server, then intercept it do it's thing (virus scan etc.) then reroute it to a proper host based on the routing table I setup. That's what I understood from reading the manual. Well, that does not happen. No email is being intercepted.
Do I need to change the MX record for my domain to point to the firewall? But if so that would not be consider intercepting any more, right? And defining a routing rule to route a messege by MX would not make much sense.
Also what should the hostname(MX) feild contain? Should it be the MX record of my domain?
These are my configuration right now:
DNS Proxy Enabled
hostname(MX):mail.mydomain.com (my MX for the domain)
Also I'm doing a ARP Proxy on the INTERNET interface. Could that have something to do with it?
Please help
Thank you.
