DNS problem

Hi all:

With asl 2.x I had a dns in a computer diferent that astaro. All the querys to dns services (public IP) was fordwarding to this computer (private IP). I didn't use DNS proxy and Astaro resolve names. With asl 3.x this don't work. If I don't use DNS proxy Astaro can't resolve names. And if I use DNS proxy astaro can resolve but all the querys to DNS services from outside don't work. What can I do to? I want asl resolve names and want to use DNS resolution from outside.

    Hi Puilla,

    at my site I've configured my internal DNS as an caching NameServer and the Astaro DNS-Proxy points to this machine. I've establisched one rule which only allows my internal Namservices to query the world.

    Host     Service Destination Action
    DNS-HOST DNS     Any         Allow 

    I've masquerading active and running ASL 3.207.

    I didn't have the problem. The problem was on gauntlet firewall. When somebody do a smtp connection under gauntlet, it automatically change the smtp ip address and put it ip address. I have tried a connection with dialup and work.
