No outgoing SMTP :-(

I'm using V 3.207 with the folowing setup

internet --- astaro --- smtp server

I'm using smtp relay proxy as described in the manual.

Mail from the internet to me arives without a problem but the internal smtp server is unable to deliver messages onto the internet. The mail stays queued in the smtp server without ever reaching the astaro machine. In the smtp log file there is no entry that indicates that the smtp server is trying to deliver something. Any segestions would be apreciated !!

    Hi AvD,

    For Outgoing Mail the ASL uses always the MX record provided by the DNS, maybe you hav a Problem with your DNS Proxy, try to use the DNS Servers you've get from your Provider as forwarding NameServers. At my site I've configured one of my Secondary name Servers to akt also as an DNS Cache, my ASL Box points to this machine as a forwarding Server. Since I've done that I've no problems with outgoing Mail.
