problems with the socks proxy ?

hail,

i cant use the sox proxy at all nowhere.
i tried icq and irc and also ssh for it

but its not working at all  [:(] 

any ideas ?
i set it to authentification and its enabled to my local network.

    at my ASL Box socs is working fine sinced version 3.202 for the use with mainly ssh (SecurCRT). Which Version do you have installed? Are the App's
    you are using SOCKS ready ? If not you need a Tool which enables the use of the SOCKS Proxy.
