ESMTP and TLS

Does anyone know if 3.x supports TLS?  I want to use Astaro for a relay server, but I also want to keep my connection secure.  Right now I'm using 2.025, and it does not support it.

    It supports TLS and User authentication, however I couldn't get TLS working when I enabled it on my Win2K SMTP service, trying to get it to talk to the Astaro proxy. I've had it turned on (on Astaro) for weeks and judging by the logs its working fine for incoming and outgoing mail.

    The Win2K thing might have been a M$ problem (shock horror!) ;-)
