ASL 3.052 Proxy Bug?

Hi, 
my proxy suddenly stopped working. I tried a restart but that does not seem to solve the problem. After the restart I watched the CACHE.LOG for a while. I saw that the proxy seems to start up correctly but about 20 minutes after the proxy started (and could not be used) I saw the following in the CACHE.LOG:
2002/06/06 09:29:37| WARNING: All redirector processes are busy.
2002/06/06 09:29:37| WARNING: 10 pending requests queued
2002/06/06 09:29:37| Consider increasing the number of redirector processes in your config file.

What is this?

    Maybe you have other people using your proxy who should not?

    Make sure you only let people on your network use it.

    Hard to tell otherwise, can you check how many connections are connected to your machine and where they come from?

    Maybe you are running low on memory, how do the graphs look?

    Hi Biffa,
    memory and processor ressources seemed to be okay. I disabled the Surf Protection Profiles and cleared the whole proxy cache. Now the proxy works. To me it seems that the redirectors for the Surf Protection Profiles where the problem, but not squid itself. 

    I found a very big log-file under /var/chroot-squid/filter/logs/access.log (Maybe the ASL-guys should rotate this one?).
