How to block pages and sites

Hey somebody can helpme!!!

What can i do to block pages or site whit ASL i already add this sites as network and apply some rules but it doesn't work

please if somebody knows how to make it please help me

    Hey Goliath,

    I have tried to block access to certain sites (without content filtering stuff), and it works wonders.

    1. Add a definition for the site/network in question.
    2. Add a packet filtering rule that says FROM inside, TO  Service  DENY.

    If it doesn't work, try to move the packet filtering rule to the top or the bottom. Packet filtering rules are processed from lowest to highest number. If you have an ALLOW ALL rule BEFORE the rule you just added, your rule will not work.

    Im really a newbie in all this stuff Orjand, but is not better to make the rule inverse?, DENY FROM server TO internal?, so the position inside the rules list does not really matter...

    Hi Ørjan

    I'm in the process of evaluation ASL3 so have no key to activate Surf Protection.
    I tried your suggestion but ASL's Squid just seems to ignore the packet filter!?

    Am I missing something obvious?
