SelfMonitoring: To much memory for a single process (974 times)

Hi,

I receive a lot mails like this:

--------------------------------------------
ALARM - to much memory for a single process:
30720 kb for /usr/sbin/named
root      7572  0.0 11.3 30720 28956 ?       S    May19   3:29 /usr/sbin/named
--------------------------------------------

I know, it's just a warning, but why named?!! Any hints?

Restarting via /etc/rc.d named doesn't solve the problem - after a few hours the messages are back again.
