Force Expiry of Content in DMZ

ASL v2.023

When the HTTP proxy is enabled and changes are made to content on the web server in the DMZ the content is continually cached.

I have modified /var/chroot-squid/etc/squid.config-default and added the following lines:

acl DENY1 dst /24
acl DENY2 url_regex ^">http://
acl DENY3 urlpath_regex  \?
no_cache deny DENY1
no_cache deny DENY2
no_cache deny DENY3

then restarted the squid cache. I watch the content get expired in store.log but continue to keep getting the original content delivered. Turning off the HTTP proxy solves the problem. I have cleared local browser cache and restarted the browser (IE 5.5 SP2).

Any tips/hints??

Cheers,

James
