i dont know what software i need to install, i want to install a proxy or gateway software on a mandrake 8.2 linux machine that i can connect to with a client running on win98, it has to be a client because the win98 pc is on a different ip range so i cant change the gateway of the win98 pc in the network tcp/ip options. im running squid right now but i dont think that it is sufficient because i need something that works with UDP and TCP packets because im trying to play Diablo2 through this proxy and Diablo2 does not have any options where i can specify proxy settings that is why i need the client. I did this successfully before using a Wingate server on a NT4 pc and a client on the Win98, so i need something that is equivelent of that except for Linux and win98.... sorry that this is so much reading but i didnt wana leave anything out.... thnx any help would be appreciated
