SMTP Relay from Internet

My ISP only allows sending email using it's servers (SMTP) if you are connected to their network (connected at home). I need to send email using this account from various locations. Can I use ASL to receive SMTP traffic from me while connected to the internet from another location and forward it to my ISP as if I has sent it from home?
Also, will ASL let me use authentication to prevent others from using my relay?
I have ASL 2.023 as well as a 3.041 installation I use for testing.
