SMTP losing mail

Hi,
my smtp loses half of the mail coming to our domain. This happens on the beta and the 2.0 version of astaro, every hour I do a chekc on the backup mail server and half of the mails are relayed to the backup.
Any idea how to solve this? There are 40 to 50 mails an hour of 2k-200k
