I can see there are a lot of problems people are having with the SMTP proxy service. The only problem I'm having is that the proxy sends out about 30 messages to one of my clients when it can't relay an email successfully. Every hour, on the hour, for about a day, an internal user of mine will receive a message saying the delivery was delayed and that the server will try again. Most of the time, this ends with a message saying the delivery didn't go through and it's now stopping.
I would like to know if it's possible to configure the proxy server not to send so many messages to my clients. Ideally, just the failure notice would be sent.
