Cannot access web servers on port 8080 when the HTTP proxy is enabled

When the transparent HTTP process is enabled people cannot access HTTP servers running on port 8080 on the inside of the firewall.

Is there a workaround or some other solution? Aside from turning off the transparent proxy?

I have the same problem here, If I put the proxy on, I'm not able to surf on the web .....

Hi together,

this is related to the filter ASL sets itself
for HTTP proxy usage. See WebAdmin: PACKET FILTER/LIVELOG

I wonder how many people run webservers on the well known
HTTP proxy port 8080 ?-)

If I'm not mistaken I think you should just use port 80 on your browser instead of 8080.
