SMTP Virus notifications for outgoing mail

I have Astaro 2.022 and I was thinking of starting to use it to scan outgoing mail, I however noticed that in the manual it says that the mail is still sent on to the recipient, but with a notification that says it contains a virus? (that's bad for publicity).

This is pretty hard to believe, can someone tell me this is not right? And if a virus is sent through, what happens? Notification to both the Administrator and the sender I suppose?

Sorry, but I don't have any infected files to test this.

Thanks,
Einar
