Https times out, no connection

I have a problem with https through my Astaro firewall.

Previously running 2.0, I "upgraded" to 3.02 beta and experience the same problem so I returned to 2.0

The http and socks proxys work well, but as soon as I try to use https, for example to hotmail it fails.

I have no filters set in the https proxy, and tried setting a route from internal to external on port 443. So far nothing has worked for https.

I'm desperate now and thinking about going back to NT4 Server/Proxy Server 2, but Microsoft Security is an oxymoron.

    I got it.... How can I have been so stupid to overlook this, and I've been looking at it for days.

    The CLIENT setup was wrong. I didn't go into ADVANCED in IIS6 proxy setup and check to use the proxy for secure also.

    Hope this helps someone else.
