HTTP Transparent Proxy Problem with VPN

Hello,
I have to sites connected vis IPSec, all traffic allowed through the packet filter passes without error. The one problem is with the transparent proxy enabled Users cannont access HTTP servers accross the VPN connection. As soon as the Transparent proxy is disabled, they can access it. Any Idea's as to why this is happpening?

    I had a similar problem. It turned out, that the browser is not resolving the FQDN in the URL by itself but leaves this to the proxy. When you have the proxy on it is configured to use the local DNS proxy for name resolving and in my case the proxy was not asking internal DNS servers for name resolution. The result is clear: nobody could contact internal web sites by their names. 
    You also cannot configure internal DNS servers in the DNS proxy on the Astaro because those usually use the Astaro as an forwarder which would create a kind of a loop.
    My solution was:
    I changed the IP address in the resolv.conf file inside of the chroot evironment of the squid proxy on the Astaro to one of my internal DNS and it worked fine.
    Keep in mind that you have to change the default files, because the normal resolv.conf will be regenerated after every configuration change in the GUI.
