Wired squid/VPN-Problem

G´Day,

I´ve got a problem in a vpn-enviroment that drives me crazy:
I´ve connected to LANs/location with 2 ASL-Box via VPN (astaro-guys: both with ASL-Licence !!!!  [;)]de).

Now comes the problem: If I enable squid on the firewall at LAN no. 2, I can´t access the WEB-Server in lan no. 1.

Why ?
I will be very thankfull for every suggestion.

Thanks.

Martin

  • Hello Martin Westermeier,

your vpn is from internal net left to internal
net on the right side, isn't it?
If you enable SQUID it uses te external IP address
of your firewall, which is not included in
    your security associations.

    regards
