SMTP Proxy SLOW to connect

I have just installed the firewall to check it out, and am very impressed. However I have come across one issue so far. The SMTP Proxy is very slow to connect. (Both incoming and outgoing). When I setup the DNS Proxy, the outgoing became very quick, however incoming connections to port 25 still take a long time to respond. Once it does, it's very fast. This leads me to believe it is some kind of name/ip resolution problem? Any ideas?

Yes, it might be that tcpserver is not invoked with "-H" ?

tcpserver is invoked with -H on my ASL box, so I doubt that is the problem.

Hi,
add your external Network card at the DNS proxy configuration menu "Interfaces to listen on". Here you can choose which interface your DNS Proxy has to listen on. The response time
from SMTP proxy will be shorter.(I had the same problem)
