HTTP Proxy _VERY_SLOW_

hello all,

i activated HTTP proxy (not transparent) in my ASL box, but when I use firewall.xx.xxx:8080 as the proxy everything slows down...
Most internet sites never appear...

My settings are typical... I allow access to my local networks and i use only banner filtering...

please help...

hi,

do you have the DNS proxy activated ? if not, please do so and give it a "nearby" name server.

I have DNS proxy activated, i have added several "nearby" dns servers (including my DMZ one), but it still remains slow...

any other suggestions ?
