chroot-smtp

I have seen lots of notices on the bulletin board about Squid filling up hard drive partitions. I am having the same problem, only it is the smtp proxy that is filling my partition. This occurs when the smtp proxy is turned OFF! What is happening is messages are attempted to be sent to the administrator, but the mails are rejected because the sender of the mails (someone@firewall) is invalid. And then the bounces bounce, etc., which fills up the partition. Can someone help? Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the quick reply! I tried deleting all the queue items as mentioned in that doc, but it didn't reduce the size of the partition use. Also, even if it did work, it wouldn't prevent this from happening again, would it? Thanks,

Are you shure qmail is up and running?
If not it will fill up youre drive. Try running du /var/chroot-smtp to find out some more info...
