Do I need HTTP Proxy?

Hi:
Can I use Astaro without the HTTP proxy and just use rules?  I need the PC's on my DMZ to surf the net but I would rather not have to change the browser configs to point to a proxy....

    The proxy service is purely optional.

    Just allow web traffic out from your machine to your normal proxy server or whatever and you will be fine.

    You probably knew this was coming.  I can't setup my DMZ units to surf.  I setup 4 rules as follows:

    DMZ ->  HTTP   -->  ANY  -->  Allow
    DMZ ->  HTTPS  -->  ANY  -->  Allow
    ANY ->  HTTP   -->  DMZ  -->  Allow
    ANY ->  HTTPS  -->  DMZ  -->  Allow

    Still no luck.  Is there anything else I need to set?
