:-) Howdy.
I'm trying to send SMTP from outside my firewall to Mail Server for delivery. I am using a dial up connection and sending to mail.example.com (my address) I can receive fine and I can also send to internal address fine. eg . me@example.com
But when I try to send to say Hotmail I get the error "recepient rejected by the server. Server Response: 553, sorry that domain isn't in my list of allowed recepients."
I am using smtp proxy on the firewall, I've also tried mapping port 2225 (external) to port 25 (mail.example.com internal) but with no luck.
Can someone please advise. Receiving is fine so it appears my pop3 mapping is ok.
One lase comment... ARRRGGGHHHH!
Oh and Tom, I checked my IP addressing this time ;-)
Thanks in advance
