NT SAM (SMB) User Authentication

Hi,

I can't get NT SAM (SMB) User Authentication to function properly. Do I need to restart ASL server ?? I'm using ASL 1.820 (Proxy) in conjunction with Windows 2000 Advanced server as PDC (+BDC), configuration is as described in authentication.txt at http://docs.astaro.org/. Any suggestion ??

It could be that the 2000 servers are using Active Directory and not a SAM. The Astaro folks should be able to verify/reject this theory.
