Two traceroute hops over IPSec tunnel?

Hello,

We are using an IPSec S2S tunnel to one of our branch offices (UTM to UTM, no RED).
If I traceroute an host from one to the other office I get the same host twice in the output... is this a normal behaviour because of the tunnel?
The tunnel itself is working as expected but this is looking kinda strange to me...
