Exporting bandwidth statistics of a interface (e.g. WAN)

Is there a way to retrieve bandwidth statistics of a certain interface (e.g. WAN interface) from the last months or even years in a text forme so they could be imported into excel (or a script) for further analysis?

    Hallo Chris,

    Depending on your settings in Reporting, up to six months of Network Usage information is kept in a PostgreSQL database.  A good PostgreSQL coder (bin ich nicht) could get the data you want.  Fellow member teched in England has suggested many pgsql commands here to get information out of those databases.
