How do i block a email

im trying to block an email from a domain but when i add it to the email protection > SMTP > Anti spam > sender black list but its telling me I need to have a sandstorm subscription ?!?!?!?

surely i shouldn't need to have a subscription to block email address.

i know how to find the email through the logs and I've got the correct domain etc

Hi, Kev, and welcome to the UTM Community!

I think Poul solved this one - deselect Sandstorm on the 'Malware' tab. If for some reason WebAdmin won't allow you to do that, run the following command at the command line as root:

cc change_object REF_SMTPGlobalProfile 'sandbox_scan_status' 0

Hi bob

I've just had another quick look at the settings and the sandstorm selection is selected but grayed out, what i don't get is if sandstorm is selected on the malware tab why does this effect email address that i want to block on the sender black list on the anti spam tab doesn't make sense

It appears to be an undocumented feature, Kev. [;)]

If it's greyed out, you don't have a subscription. Does the problem persist after the option is deselected?
