From UTM to Office 365

Not really sure what you want, but what I think you need to do is to create a connector in your Office365 environment.

This connector can be configured to accept mail to be sent from your internal devices (which may very well be your UTM).

You can create a connector under Exchange admin center -> Mail flow -> connectors.

If this is not what you need, then please specify more about your needs and the exact problem you  are facing now.

Not sure if I'm able to help you, but the way we have set this up is by using a Microsoft SMTP server that only accepts messages from our internal subnets and that delivers all mail to the Office365 smart-host.

I am not sure, but I think the connector can only accept messages from another mailserver and not directly from a client.

Doesn't seem to be a UTM problem though...

Edgar, if I've correctly understood your setup and if you have a subscription for Email Protection, then I think you can do this with the SMTP Proxy.
