SMTP Password

I send all of my mail through the Astaro 8 box. Everything was working fine until I had to login to my ISPs email server and change the password. Since then Astaro fails to forward email to the ISP. It fails with authentication failure. I changed the password for the user in the Astaro box to match the ISP and yet it still fails. Where else is the password set at

  • You changed the Smart Host information at the bottom of the 'Advanced'  tab in SMTP in addition to the 'Advanced' tab of 'Management >> Notifications'?

  • yep, that's what it was. I also found that answer in the online manual too. Guess I need to slow down and make sure I read that, Thank you for your help.
