Email server migration

I am currently working on migrating from a QMail server to Exchange 2010. I cannot move all users at once as their Outlook has to be configured correctly for the different email servers. Is there any way to route emails to different servers that are on the same domain with Astaro?

It seems the fist email server added to the Hosts list under SMTP > Routing is the server that gets the email. If I remove the email account on the Qmail server, the Exchange server picks up the email. This causes a problem with internal Email not routing if someone still on the Qmail server sends email to someone on Exchange.

Thoughts or suggestion beyond Astaro if this cannot be done with Astaro?

*EDIT: since external email is routed ok with both servers, I am sure Astaro cannot fix my internal problems between the email servers. Still looking for suggestions though.

    Outlook can have multiple profiles.  Why not set up a new profile with Exchange for each user, and then turn Qmail off one evening and Exchange on?  (Of course, I left out the details. [;)])

    Then again, if Qmail is not an Exchange look-alike, why not configure Exchange for each user, leaving the Qmail account as the Default?  Then, give each user a simple page showing the way to select Exchange as the default on the morning after you've made the switch and turned Qmail off?  Once you're comfortable that everyone has made the transition, you even could turn Qmail back on if need be.

    I know there are tools to migrate away from Exchange to other mail servers - is there one to transition to Exchange?  That would be more reliable than counting on folks to move their own emails from Qmail to Exchange using drag-n-drop in Outlook.

    I managed to get the Qmail server to forward mail to the Exchange server, but I have to add a forward to the email accounts on QMail. I added a second email domain to Exchange (domain.local). This gave all users a second email address in Exchange that is bound to their account. Next I added domain.local:ExchangeServerIP to smtproutes on the Qmail server. Now when I have someone switched over to the Exchange server, I add a forward on the Qmail side to user@domain.local. 

    Only problem I have is that users on Exchange cannot email users on Qmail.
    It has been awhile since I have messed with Exchange (it was back when it had version numbers and not a year). I am more a Linux sendmail or qmail admin.
