Medical Dictionary

We're looking at upgrading our Astaro appliance and it turns out that it is cheaper to license FullGuard. If we could move our mail filtering to Astaro as well that would make the price tag of a new appliance easier to swallow.

BUT, does anyone know if Astaro's mail filtering has a medical dictionary? Besides spam, we use our mail filter to stop any potential PHI (personal health information: ie SSN, medical words, etc.).

    The antispam system on the Astaro does not use an internal dictionary or local database to determine what is spam and what is not.... it uses a combination of RBLs, other basic checks, and a real-time cloud-based "fingerprinting" system (it does work quite well) to determine what is spam and what is not.  That said, if you do want to filter email based solely on certain words or phrases, there is a configuration option there for you to add a Regular Expression to do so.

    There is currenly no DLP functionality in their anti-spam solution, unless you just configure the system manually to block certain patterns using that RegEx system.
