Kerio WinRoute Internal Mail Routing

I have used the Kerio WinRoute to create distribution list in the past. It would route mail to all the internal recipients without all the mail traffic having to leave the internal network. I have been through about every setting but haven't seen any thing that resembles this. Any ideas on how to make this possible? I don't think it would be possible to set winroute back up behind the ASG smtp proxy?

  • I don't know anything about WinRoute, but I don't see any reason not to use it behind Astaro if it worked without an Astaro.  Not sure what you mean about using it with the SMTP Proxy, but that would seem to be more of an issue with your ISP and off-site mail service.

I still think you'd be better off to use the SMTP Proxy instead of POP3 with your current off-site mail service.  That wouldn't affect your WinRoute idea one way or another.

  • absolutely with Balfson! SMTP active, will catch port 25 if the gateway of winroute is the ASG
