Hi,
I use a small business server 2003 on my home network along with exchange 2003.
I would like to start using the ASG's mail security features, but cannot find any decent documentation on how to set this up correctly.
At present, my mail is sent via the exchange smtp connector to my isp's smpt mail server and then onto it final destination.
Incoming mail is delivered to pop3 mailboxes hosted via my isp and then the exchange server downloads the mails from these every 5 minutes.
To keep things simple, I would prefer the asg to not perform any authentication for internal users.
I'm guessing that I just need to activate the pop3 and smtp proxy's in transparent mode (same as the web security), but am not over sure if there is any other field I also need to complete.
For the SMTP proxy, do I need to specify the ASG as the smpt mail server in the connector and then specify the ISP smtp mail server on ASG somewhere??
Regards
Andy
