Can't release Spam mails from the (quarantine) mail manager

I have mails marked as spam mails in the POP3 quarantine manager.

When I check the mails and select 'Release and report as false positive' and then click the 'Go' button at the bottom of the screen, a refresh of the screen is done but the mails are neither released to the intended recipient nor are they removed from the POP Quarantine Manager list.

What can I do to resolve the problem?

Hi, info_tech, and welcome to the User BB!

The POP3 quarantine works differently from the SMTP quarantine. Hitting "Release" only marks the mail as deliverable - the Astaro will wait for the email addressee's email client to request the email. If the email isn't in the client's Enduser portal, then you still have some configuration to do.

What other configuration do I have to do and where?

The user's client does not have access to the firewall as the mails are routed to them through a mail server.

I.e.

Mail comes into through the firewall to a mail server from where the user's mail clients download their mails.

Do I have to configure the mail server to release (download) the server from the quarantine manager and how?
