outgoing Mails thru SMTP Proxy

Hi everybody,

we are running Exchange 2010 behind an ASG320 and a "normal" SMTP Proxy. everything is working fine.....[[:)]] [[:)]]

The next step should be to route all outgoing Mails thru this SMTP Proxy. Can somebody give me a quick setup idea ???

The quick and dirty way is to set the proxy in Transparent mode on the Advanced tab. It should pick up on any emails coming from your Exchange server if it's in the host list though. Be certain to enable Scan relayed (outgoing) messages on the Relaying tab.
