Using jDownloader

I cannot use jDownloader if virus scanning is enabled in the HTTP proxy.
If the virus scanning is disabled all works fine, if it is enabled I get an "unexpected rangeheader format:null" error.

Is there a way to exclude jDownloader from anti virus scanning?
I have looked in the exception area but I cannot see a way to do this.

    Hi BigO

    I am using jdownloader with v 8.163 (Beta version) and it works fine. I am using socks proxy for my jdownloader.

    Thanks for the reply, but that does not really help me.
    I don't really want to migrate to v8 as I do not have the time at the moment.
    Is there a way I can get jDownloader working in v7.x?

    Could you post the http error( relevant log) ?

    then try to configure the program to use the socks server (port 1080 and ip:  ASG) and post the relevant log  (the program doesn't work with v5socks-authentication

    BTW, I don't know how to enable the socks proxy. [:(]

    according to the statuscode (500 ) you get an internal error. Are you able to download the file via http?Which HTTp proxy mode are you using? (transparet,standard )etc? Instructions to enable socks https://support.astaro.com/support/images/2/2e/Manual_ASG_7-506_EN.pdf

    I can download the file from the browser or, as I said, if I turn off anti virus scanning I can download too.
    It's only when the virus scanning is enabled that jDownloader has a hissy fit.

    Given the log entry identifies reputation="suspicious" categoryname="Personal Network Storage,Media Sharing" I tried playing with the content filters but that did not work either.

    Maybe I am setting things in the wrong place, I don't know.
