email rejected Address unknown

Yes the smart GW is pointing to ASG and Gateway is same

However this is what I have observed from SMTP Logs,

Repetitive tests from yahoo to the same address on exchange will at random get blocked or delivered, this obviously is due to the fact that yahoo server will use different IPs to send messages, some IPs were blocked due to RBL others were delivered. So the question is, is it possible that yahoo's email servers are listed in RBL ? or is the SPAM filter being too unforgiving, and if so what is the fix, then does the same problem will exist with hotmail, aol gmail and other popular webmail services

The greylisted emails have nothing to do with your original problem of address unknown. 

I had complained about this repeatedly during the v8 beta testing but apparently astaro's internal testing convinced them to keep this feature in v8 GA. From personal experience, the greylisted servers mostly belong to yahoo and microsoft (hotmail) and most of the time the mail is also spam. 

If you notice, they are greylisted three times and then the mail is eventually delivered on the 4th try. These IPs are also displayed in your daily executive report as top spam senders so I am not really sure of the total greylisting idea specially if you have greylisting disabled globally. I have not really played around with the email settings since I learned to live with this after a while but you probably could just disable astaro recommended rbls and use your own as a workaround. But you probably won't notice any ill effects of this greylisting other than the bloated logs and false reporting of spam senders.
