Problems with recipient validation

Evening (morning) all,

I just recently upgraded my backend mail server.  Replaced is probably more like it.  Same version of Exchange and all that.

Astaro was doing fine with recipient validation on the old server but now on the new server it's working for all but one domain.  I'm terribly confused how it can validate recipients on every domain except for one.

Anyone have a direction they can point me in on this one?

I know it's not alot of details - I'm about 14 hours into this migration and don't have the brain capacity left.

    This must be a setting on the domain record in Exchange, but, please show the lines from the SMTP log relative to one of the emails that failed to have the recipient validated.

    Still running on limited brain capacity since I only got about 4 hours sleep but here we go:

    The string showing up in the live SMTP log is:

    2010-10-24 01:34:37 id="1003" severity="info" sys="SecureMail" sub="smtp" name="email rejected" srcip="***.***.***.***" from="someone%40somewhere.com" to="administrator%40domain.com" size="1808" reason="address_verification" extra="Address unknown"

    That was from early this morning.  The best part is it's now working fine...[:O]

    I guess I'll just wait it out.

    If you still need help, please post all of the log lines relative to an invcorrectly bounced email and tell us if this domain is hosted on the same server as the others that work correctly.
