Sending emails to multiple recipients fail

Hi,

We have a user that is trying to send to multiple clients, if one of the email address is bad (does not exist) then the email gets dropped. All other valid email addresses in the distribution list do not receive the email. Is there a work around for this?

12wB4s-0002eb-2P == *@*.com.au R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (-46): SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined DATA: host mail.*.*.*.* [*.*.*.*]: 451 One or more of the sender or recipients in your email are invalid and not accepted. Please try again later.

Astaro version 7.505

Does this also occur in Astaro v8.001?

Thanks

Dan

  • Are all of the recipients in the same domain?  That looks like the recipient mail server is using greylisting, or that the IT staff at the client site needs to fix their configuration.  In any case, I don't think it's anything you have any control over.
