Poor subject; hard to define...
I have a client with multiple addresses in his domain. One of these addresses (x-y-z@) is used as a catch-all, so when someone sends to a non-existent account (fredmertz@) it goes to that mailbox.
Naturally, while I *can* add x-y-z@ as an additional address for his user account, and thus, allow quarantined messages to be shown when he logs into his portal, I can't think of every possible bogus email address to add to the list. So...
Yesterday, he sent me a note, telling me that he had received a quarantine report addressed to a bogus address, which landed (of course) in his x-y-z@ account. However (naturally), when he logged into his portal, he could not see the message in quarantine, because it wasn't an address listed as a valid additional one for his login.
It does not appear to be possible (under ASG v7.x) to add an additional address as "*@domain.tld), though this entry can be made (it is just ignored or taken literally). Is it possible to use regex in the list of addresses, to define, for example, addresses which are *not* someone else's?
This is the first time this has come up (well, truth be told, I generally bounce all messages which are not sent to valid addresses, though this client insists upon doing it this way). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
