Well, they not already reply me to the RMA request, so I asked to forum in order to speed up this backup [:)]

I'm unlucky, sure, BUT the issue was caused by DEFECTIVE PATTERN UPDATE, AGAIN ASTARO!

If you had the problems for a couple of days now, the problem wasn't caused by a defective pattern. Or what exactly was your problem here?

Until this morning all worked fine. At 12-12.30 the http proxy didn't work anymore, it was UP in the webadmin but it was not possible to web surf, only disabling it I could access to web pages. So I have tried to disable and enable again http proxy. Nothing. I tried to reboot the machine but the system was not UP: eth0, eth1, eth2, eth3 had leds OFF, eth4, eth5, eth6, eth7 had leds ON. Connecting a monitor I could see this error:

Starting HAL daemon/usr/sbin/hald: error while loading shared libraries: libobject-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
startproc: exit status of parent of /usr/sbin/hald: 127

Failed services in runlevel 3: haldaemon

So the support told me to do this:

cp /var/storage/chroot-pop3/usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 /usr/lib/
cp /var/storage/chroot-pop3/usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0 /usr/lib/

Afterwards list all available backups:
backup.plx –l
choose the lastest backupfile! Excecute the following command:
backup.plx –i /var/confd/var/storage/snapshots/cfg_***** 

They said: "this issue was caused by a defective pattern."

Now, after their suggestions, I can access to webadmin but the http proxy still not work! It is not running, even if the green icon says that it runs: normally my memory usage is 75-80%, now is only 40-50%.

I'm waiting for a solution from support [:(]

I followed your steps. Meanwhile I can access the FW from the Intranet. POP is OK.
httpproxy fails.
Found one reason using: /var/mdw/scripts/httpproxy restart

starting httpproxy/var/chroot-http/usr/bin/httpproxy: error while loading shared libraries; ligbgthread-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
startproc: exit status of parent of /var/chroot-http/usr/bin/httpproxy: 127

Then simply searched for the file and found two.
cp /var/storage/chroot-http/usr/lib/libglthread-2.0.so.0 /usr/lib/
cp /var/storage/chroot-http/usr/lib/libglmodule-2.0.so.0 /usr/lib/

follwed by:
/var/mdw/scripts/httpproxy restart

I am back!
Wrote this and sent it via ASG.

This appears to have been the same issue as Sticky: Maybe faulty pattern - Do not reboot!
