Enabling smtp proxy causes all sent mails to fall in spam

Hi,

When I enable smpt proxy, all mails sent from our mail server fall to spam (on gmail) or completely denided on some servers with a RDNS error.

I am not an email server expert, so I realy need some advice here.

    Ah, yes.  This problem is caused by the initial configuration, and I think the Astaro configuration guide should be improved.

    In a situation where the Astaro will be doing Mail Security, we use the customer's primary MX record as the 'Hostname'.  So, for example, that might be mail.yourdomain.com which resolves to 195.x.y.33.  We would configure the External interface with 195.x.y.33 as the primary IP.

    If the name is changed after items are configured that use or create certificates, then you can fill in an alternate hostname in some places, but it's a bit of a mess.  Better to do it right the first time.
